piacera! We, Corinne and Hans van Hooren, have been the proud owners of La Collina Degli Scoiattoli in Cravanzana, an agriturismo of more than 200 years old since 2022. A long cherished dream of ours has come true.

We have often been on holiday in Piedmont with our family. A region with a perfect mix of sporting challenges, cultural activities and, above all, culinary surprises. In an authentic, sympathetic environment, where it can be deafeningly quiet and dazzlingly beautiful. And where you can completely relax.

After a very nice time in the Netherlands, where both our daughters grew up and where we had nice jobs in the business world, we decided to realize our dream; move to Italy and give other people a great time there. We then started learning Italian (‘non e facile’) and started house hunting in 2021. When we saw this agriturismo, in this unique place, with the magnificent view, we were immediately sold.

Besides spoiling you as our guests, we have our agricultural activities. Also something completely new for us. We have a fruit orchard, vegetable garden. vineyard and over 550 hazelnut trees. Because in addition to wine, truffles and cheese, this region is especially famous for its hazelnuts with Alba as Nutella’s capital.

In short, our agriturismo is the perfect base to explore this undiscovered area, the Alta Langa in Piemonte. We look forward to your arrival.
